This is very colloquial Spanish slang for 'having sex', usually with the sense of something quick and unceremonious. 'Casquete' Literally means a 'cap/helmet' or 'small cover', and in slang it became a slightly humorous and down-market way of talking about the subject without saying it explicitly. Widely used in informal conversation; it sounds quite casual and a bit rough around the edges.
"Echar un casquete" does not mean to pull off a quick prank, to masturbate, to take a photo. It specifically means "To have a quickie".
