“Ficher” is a mild-ish slang verb here (like “to give/throw”), and “les jetons” are tokens—by extension, jitters. So it means “it scared the hell out of me” in a familiar, very spoken tone, often about a sudden fright. You can also say “j’ai les jetons” (I’m scared).
"Ça m’a fichu les jetons" does not mean it gave me free tokens, it made me laugh a lot, it fixed my problems. It specifically means "It freaked me out".
